* Across the Brooklyn Bridge into Chinatown
* Diplomatic neighborhood near United Nations building

Other places you will go:
Metropolitan Museum of Art, Grand Central Station, Rockefeller Plaza, Diamond District, Empire State Building, United Nations.

Broadway Shows: You pick your evening activity. We can go as a group, or go on your own.

Lodging: Charming and comfortable hotel nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood. Double occupancy.
Each room has a private sink.
European style (full bathroom in the hall)
OR a with private bathroom for $450 more.

Group Size: Small group of 4 to 12 fun, fit people. Please be fit enough to walk 5 to 6 miles a day. We don't walk fast because we are seeing the sights, and one must stop at every corner.

Cost: $1,500. Includes:
*Five nights lodging, double occupancy.
*Airfare from Eugene or Seattle.
*All ground transportation: to and from the airport, subway fares.
*Personable and experienced guide, Tyler Burgess.
If you want to use frequent flyer miles, please let me know.
For single room, add $250.
For private bathroom in a double room, add $450.

Extra: Entry to museums, and sites like the Empire State Building. All meals. We eat iin mostly small, moderate-price ethnic restaurants and delis.

Terms: Register with completed form and $250 deposit before March 10, 2012. Pay in full at the pre-trip meeting on Monday, March 19. Refund, less $50, before March 19.
No refund after March 19, or once trip begins. Trip insurance is highly recommended as the airfare is non-refundable and it is difficult to get a refund from a hotel.

What to wear: The weather should be nice and warm, but it might rain. I always take a light rain jacket.
Dress is casual. Wear good walking shoes.
I pack light and wash my underwear out at night.
