| Germany Itinerary 2009 |
Leave USA. Fly direct from Portland, Oregon, to Frankfurt, Germany. Depending on the trip, leave September 9 or 16.
Day 1 Guides will meet you at the airport. Private transport to first village.
Day 2 Hike from a tiny village to the Roman villa.
Day 3 Help with the grape harvest and picnic in a vineyard.
Day 4 Walk through the vineyards. Local fall festival.
Day 5 A day in Alsace, France, walking through the medieval village of Wissenburg and visiting the markets.
Day 6 Tour of the Doktorenhof, a producer of culinary vinegars. Hike to a castle.
Day 7 A day in Speyer, where we tour the ancient town, and walk to the Rhine River.
Day 8, Depart Frankfurt airport on either September 17 or September 24, depending upon your tour.
