1. REGISTRATION. Includes completed registration form and $500. Balance is due March 16, 2009.
2. GROUP SIZE. Minimum of 4, maximum of 6 people.
3. INCLUDES. All lodging, ground transportation, and breakfasts. Plus local tour guides at special sites. Extra are lunch, dinner, and airfare.
4. TERRAIN. Mostly flat with some rolling hills. The Todra Gorge hike is steep, but we go slowly. The trek portion is steep on good gravel trails, except at the very top where it is a narrow path and very steep.
5. MILEAGE. From 2 to 8 miles per day at a relaxed pace. If you want to do a short distance, we can easily accommodate you.
6. PACE. We accommodate the slowest in the group. There is no sag wagon.
7. AIRFARE. This is extra. You arrange your airfare. Please fly in and out of Marrakech, Morocco.
8. LODGING. Twin or double beds available. We stay in comfortable, charming hotels. A single room is $250 more.
9. CANCELLATIONS. Before March 16, there is full refund less $100. After that date, no refunds can be made. No refunds on any unused or canceled services once the tour has begun. It is very difficult to get our money back, as reservations have been made.
10. PASSPORT. You need a passport.
11. INSURANCE. Trip insurance is strongly suggested to allow for any unexpected contingencies in your personal circumstances. This can be purchased through a travel agent or online.
12. LUGGAGE. You need a fanny pack or day pack to carry lunch. Bring ONLY one suitcase with wheels or a back pack. We have a small van, so PACK LIGHT.
13. TRAVELER'S CONTRIBUTION. Be fit enough to do the walk. Bring appropriate gear for an occasional rain burst. Hiking boots are HIGHLY recommended. Although we try to eliminate as much uncertainly as possible, it is part of traveling. Being ready to adjust will enhance your experience.
