1. REGISTRATION. Includes completed registration form and $500. Total cost is $2,300.
Balance is due February 15, 2010.

2. GROUP SIZE. Maximum of 6 people.

3. INCLUDES. All airfare from Eugene, Oregon, ground transportation, hotel in Madrid, guide and guidebook. Extras are food and cheap pilgrim lodging, about $600.

4. TERRAIN. There are some 1,200 to 1,400 foot hills, some is flat. On trails and sidewalks.

5. MILEAGE. From 12 to 17 miles a day, at a relaxed pace. There is no sag wagon. See the itinerary for daily mileage.

6. PACE. You receive guide to the trail first thing in the morning. Then you are free to follow the trail markers, walk at a relaxed pace, meet other pilgrims and take breaks.

7. AIRFARE. This is included from Eugene, Oregon.

8. LODGING. In pilgrim accommodations is a dormitory with shared bathrooms. Sometimes there is a kitchen. In Madrid our hotel has private bathrooms.

9. CANCELLATIONS. Before April 1, there is full refund less $100. After that date, no refunds can be made. No refunds on any unused or canceled services once the tour has begun.

10. PASSPORT. You need a passport. I need a copy of it.

11. INSURANCE. Trip insurance is strongly suggested to allow for any unexpected contingencies in your personal circumstances. This can be purchased through a travel agent or online.

12. LUGGAGE. You need a day pack with a wide hip belt to shift the weight from your shoulders to your hips. You carry everything everyday, so pack light.

13. TRAVELER'S CONTRIBUTION. You MUST be fit enough to do the walk. Bring appropriate gear for some rainy days. You MUST have a pair of hiking boots. Although we try to eliminate as much uncertainly as possible, it is part of traveling. Being ready to adjust will enhance your experience.
