Experience the medieval pilgrimage from St. Jean Pied de Pont, France to Burgos, Spain, 180 miles. This is the first section of the Way of St. James. Walk through rolling countryside and charming medieval villages on the same road built by Romans to bring out the gold. (Join us in 2013 to walk the final section, Astorga to Santiago.) Luggage transport, comfortable lodging in private rooms.

2013 Spain, Way of St. James, Astorga to Santiago
The final stage on the Way of St. James. You will arrive in Santiago and receive your certificate of completion, called a Compestella. We conclude with a bus ride to the end of the known medieval world, the cape at Finisterre, over looking the Atlantic Ocean. Details to come.
